This happened on the spur of the moment. I met this young woman at a friends’ home. She had just arrived in Accra from the North of Ghana and was in the capital for the first time. I was fascinated by her facial bone structure and expression. I asked her if she would sit for me for a couple of hours so I could do a portrait of her and she obliged.
